The modern musician is considered an 'art athlete', for all the hours of preparation and daily study spent to enter into symbiosis with his instrument. Like athletes, however, he can run into injuries of various kinds, in particular syndromes affecting the joints and the back. This work is the result of more than ten years of empirical research that has its roots in the knowledge and practice of internal oriental martial arts. Over the years, the author has been confronted with colleagues and students and has crystallized these experiences in a series of exercises, building an organic methodology that could support the musical athlete on a physical and, above all, sensory level. Starting from the acquisition of musculoskeletal alignment and developing the most suitable breathing, a fascinating journey begins towards one's inner self and towards a psycho-physical form aimed at elasticity and harmony
with what surrounds it.
