The Soft Focus is a shoegaze reverb effect for guitar by Catalinbread, inspired by the Soft Focus patch on the Yamaha FX500 processor. It is equipped with a plate reverb that is sent in parallel to a higher octave effect and a chorus; it has 5 knobs to control the octave level, the chorus speed, the decay time of the reverb and the wet/dry mix.
