RME PRO LINE LNI-2 DC Filter and Stabilizer

Low Noise Isolating DC Filter, 12 Volt 2 Amps, DC Input and Output Low Noise Isolating DC Filter, 12 Volt 2 Amps, DC Input and Output Enclosed in a compact chassis, RME's exclusive and innovative active DC filter, is able to filter the signal output from any power supply, making it qualitatively at the level of a high-end hi-fi battery and at the same time isolates possible ground loops or hum thanks to two exclusive features: galvanic isolation and RME μFilter technology. Galvanic isolation eliminates almost completely the discharge current common to switching power supplies, reducing the coupling capacity between input and output from 1 nF (nano Farad) to less than 35 pF (pico Farad). LNI-2 DC works with power sources ranging from 9 V to 18 V DC and always provides a fixed and perfect output value of 12.0 V. The RME μFilter consists of a discrete linear regulator with a significantly low noise, a soft start, thermal and current overload protection and is therefore 100% short-circuit proof. Two status LEDs on the top of the unit indicate the input and output voltage and the overload. As an additional feature, the mass of the DC output can be connected to the ground or to another mass of the device through a screw to solve earthing wiring problems.
