With the Brian May amPlug guitar headphone amplifier, you can get the legendary guitarist's classic tone anytime, anywhere, through any standard pair of headphones. Developed by Vox in collaboration with Brian May, the AC30 + Treble Booster setting of the amPlug is literally “Brian May's tone in the palm of your hand.” Designed to recreate the unique sound of the Red Special signal chain and Brian's hand-cranked AC30 (not forgetting the six pence), Vox's mission with this special edition of the amPlug was to make Brian's instantly recognizable tone accessible to everyone. But the Brian May AmPlug doesn't just provide the tone. Thanks to a series of background rhythms, including stomps and claps from “We Will Rock You”, you can listen to classic tracks on headphones. The 'Brighton Rock' stereo delay setting, with tap tempo, allows you to get lost in an AC30 wall, channeling Brian May's call and response work into tracks like 'Brighton Rock' and 'Now I'm Here'. The amPlug's phaser effect also allows you to recreate Brian's swirling sound live, transporting you to the Wembley stage, in about 1985, from the comfort of your home.
