The Rode VideoMic Pro is a shotgun microphone designed for use with camcorders or DSLR cameras.
The Rode VideoMic Pro is equipped with a 1/2” condenser capsule and an output through a stereo mini-jack connector; additional technical characteristics include supercardioid polar pattern, light and robust multiwire cable that allows signal transmission with very little noise, frequency response 40 - 20000 Hz, high pass filter at 80 Hz, attenuator pad of -10 dB, amplification of the level of 20 dB and connection for mounting on any rod with 3/8” thread.
