The SHURE BETA 98H/C is a condenser microphone with cardioid polar pattern ideal for microphoning brass, percussion and wood, both on stage and in the studio.
It has an optimized frequency response with a bandwidth from 20 Hz to 20 kHz and can withstand a high sound pressure level (SPL), or 155 dB. The cardioid shooting pattern allows for a high gain before feedback. It also includes a 3 m (10 ft) high-flex cable connected to the preamplifier. The preamp runs on phantom power and connects to the mixer via an XLR connection. The assembly is easy thanks to the articulated joint equipped with a stop tooth and the gooseneck with angled
