Sphere L22 MicrophoneThe Sphere system uses a custom-designed condenser microphone with large diaphragm type L22, with very high resolution, dual-channel, capable of capturing the three-dimensional sound spectrum with a very high precision in the details. Made for extremely tight tolerances, the L22 ensures that the modeling is consistent and accurate Realtime UAD Processing With Universal Audio Apollo, a very low latency (about 1.6ms at 96kHz) is obtained for guaranteed real-time performance. It also supports native AAX, VST and AU. Polar Pattern ModelingSphere emulates the three-dimensional response of the microphones that you can choose, which means that the polar patterns and other off-axis characteristics of the vintage microphones on the list are in the system and are editable. Re-mic the Sphere Tracks You can choose the type of microphone, the polar pattern and other settings both before and after recording. Editable Proximity EffectYou will not need to move the microphone just to decrease or increase the amount of bass and treble due to the proximity effect. Great for punching in a voice, even if the distance from the microphone is slightly different from take a take. Simultaneous modelingUsing Dual Mode with the plug-in' Sphere', it will be possible to mix, in phase consistency, various models of virtual microphones through the same physical microphone, before or after recording. It will also be possible to adjust the relative phase alignment of the two microphones with the 'Align' control. Record stereo (with a MIC) With a single Sphere L22 Microphone, through the 'Sphere 180' plug-in, it will be possible to record in stereo (matching microphones) and even use different microphone models for the right and left channels. Off-axis Correction™ You can create multiple ideal polar patterns that may be useful to reduce overlays, ambient colors and feedback starts before or after recording. Polar Meter The 'Sphere' plug-in provides (very cool) visual information with the Polar Meter that dynamically shows the direction and level of the signal captured by the microphone, based on the selected polar pattern.
