The Sontronics Halo is a large diaphragm microphone based on the STC-80 and specially improved to better capture the key frequencies of guitar amplifiers.


This microphone is equipped with a dynamic capsule suspended on four spring supports that protect the microphone from vibrations and noises both in the studio and in a live context; it also has a frequency response of 50 Hz - 15 kHz and a cardioid polar pattern.
