PaaS MK2 is a high-quality listening system designed specifically by KORG for the Pa5X Top Arranger Keyboard. With its compact dimensions, made of aluminum, it consists of 3 ways: treble, medium, bass, with 5 speakers and is able to develop a power of about 30+60 W Stereo. PaaS MK2 connects to the arranger through the proprietary Easy Connection connection that does not require additional cables. Practical and light to carry, it can be used effectively to amplify Pa5X in medium-sized environments, or as a personal monitor

on stage.

KORG PaaS MK2 Key Features

The efficient (optional) PaaS MK2 amplifier system reproduces the sound of Pa5X in a Hi-Fi class with high dynamics, connects to the arranger without additional cables through the exclusive patented Easy Connect system.

PaaS MK2 It can also be used with older PA models, such as Pa4X, Pa3X or Pa3Xle (*).

*Speaker power depends on the model the system is connected to. It is possible to obtain maximum power and the most dynamic sound when PaaS MK2 is connected to one of the 3 Pa5X models

Adapt settings to each operating situation

With Pa5X you can select a different Waves MaxxAudio® Mastering Preset for audio outputs and headphones, or the PaaS MK2 speaker system itself.

Each of the Waves Presets contains settings for a full 7-band parametric equalizer and for MaxxAudio® Suite. The settings may be different for each output, line of output, or speaker system.

PaaS MK2 is ideal for use as a stand-alone listening system on stage or at home. You can set the output level, EQ and MaxxAudio® values for PaaS MK2, while the main outputs and headphones use a different Preset. This is ideal for adjusting the monitoring level separately from the stage's amplifier system

Parameter control and sound modeling

The 7-band parametric equalizer and the other Waves MaxxAudio® software tools allow you to correct the Pa5X acoustic response based on the environment in which the keyboard itself is used. In the same way, an equalization curve calibrated specifically for home listening or for any other environment can be saved and recalled automatically. PaaS MK2 is an incredibly versatile and efficient amplifier system that interacts directly with the KORG Pa5X operating system
