Tall, Fat & Wide multi stage analog FET preamp STEREO If you work in a stereo environment, this is the solution you've been waiting for! The acclaimed Lounsberry Tall & Fat in a stereo pedal. The Lounsberry Tall & Fat has always been the “go to” pedal for organists and keyboard players, who must, however, use the mono output from their keyboard in order to use the Tall & Fat pedal. They generally connect the Tall & Fat output to a stereo rotating speaker simulator and then to the mixer or recording system. The Tall Fat and Wide, on the other hand, allows a full stereo connection. The pedal was designed to be used as an “always on” preamplifier (a sound we call '60s clean), but it is also the favorite overdrive of many organists. When post-sim is used, the “Fat” control (drive) must be set to a lower level to control the amount of chop produced by the simulator. The pedal has two sets of TRS stereo outputs. From the Tip outputs comes out the sound of Tall & Fall in stereo, from the Ring outputs the sound of the A10 circuit comes out without overdrive so as to provide a totally clean sound but with the warmth and sound that characterize the pedal.
