New in Orba 3: Integrated microphoneThe new built-in microphone in Orba 3 allows you to sample any sound and instantly transform it into a musical instrument. Without the need for cables or additional devices, you can transform the environment around you into a true symphony: the kitchen drawer becomes an original drum set, while the whistle of the kettle can become a flute. A unique feature of Orba 3 is the ability to use the sampler on one of the four parts. Its intelligent sampling technology analyzes the audio and automatically selects the best part of it, immediately tuning it. In Drums mode, you can sample up to eight different sounds and reproduce them exactly as you recorded them. The bass sample will be tuned to a lower range, perfect for creating the foundation of the track, while the Lead sample will be tuned to higher notes, ideal for melodies. In Chords mode, the sound will be automatically tuned into a harmonious combination of three or four voices. Sounds (real) GoodOrba 3 offers more than 300 high-quality sample-based sounds. From classic instruments such as guitars, pianos and organs, to experimental sounds created with Artiphon's unique synthesizer, the possibilities for inspiration are endless. With the Artiphon Connect app, you can choose from dozens of “Sound Packs” — collections of predefined sounds, ideal for rapidly developing new ideas — or take the time to select the perfect sound for your next masterpiece. Although sampling directly with the new integrated microphone is extremely simple, you can use the Artiphon Connect app to upload your samples and create customized parts for Drum, Bass, Chord and Lead. On LoopoRba 3 has an integrated looper that allows you to easily compose your songs. Thanks to the 'A' button, which acts as a menu, you can immediately start recording directly on the device, without wires or additional screens. You can play by following an intuitive 'click track' as you layer the various parts of your composition. Orba 3 also includes a quantization function that automatically corrects the timing of the notes, aligning them perfectly with the rhythm. If during the performance or recording some notes are slightly out of time, Orba will fix them automatically, always guaranteeing a precise result. Model your soundOrba 3 offers you nine responsive gestures, such as Tap, Tilt, Shake and others, that allow you to further customize your playing style. Even a simple press on Orba is more expressive than traditional electronic instruments: it is sensitive to speed and pressure, allowing you to change the sound even after playing the first chord. By swiping your finger across the surface of Orba (Radiate), you can control the volume of the sound. By tilting it, you can transform the sound with additional effects. In Drum mode, you can shake Orba to make a realistic shaker sound, or hit its side to get a clap or tambourine sound. Thanks to its capacitive sensor interface, Orba detects even the smallest micromovements, making each performance unique and unrepeatable. MIDI connectivity Thanks to the polyphonic MIDI expression (MPE) on USB-C and Bluetooth, Orba 3 takes your musical production to a higher level, ensuring almost non-existent latency for a smooth and seamless experience. Whether in the studio or on the go, Orba integrates seamlessly with software like Ableton Live, GarageBand, and Logic Pro X. You can even map Orba's pads and gestures to your digital audio workstation (DAW), giving you practical and intuitive control over your creations.
