The electronics based on the Polar Bridge Pickup System combines great sound with directional sensitivity, for a rich and expressive response both with the pizzicato technique and arc. The Omni Bass responds to the bow with an expressive and natural voice, combining it with a powerful resonance

This instrument can be played with any amplifier with high impedance input, or any other instrument using a DI Box. WAV tools work without batteries, thus eliminating the hassle and costs of batteries and protecting

The scale is 34", which is the same as a standard electric bass and the instrument is available in both 4 and 5 string configurations. Tuned in EADGC or BEADG quarters, the hand position is the same as that used with the bass, for this reason it is an instrument that is immediately familiar to all bass players. The Omni Bass can also be tuned backwards

The keyboard is characterized by the TransRadius profile, a type of curvature applied to NS Design's Omni Bass instruments. Thanks to this curvature, the radius at the nut is 9.25 inches, so very familiar to the classic bass player. At the end of the keyboard, i.e. near the bridge, on the other hand, the radius is 2 inches, wide enough to maintain a good position between the strings with the bow and still remaining comfortable for pinching. The transition between the two curvatures is perfectly calibrated asymmetrically, providing comfort in any position of the keyboard.
