The MIA A400ce XII is Eko Guitars' electrified 12-string acoustic guitar, amplified with the Fishman Flex Blend system. It comes in Auditorium form with missing shoulder with Solid Cedar Top, sides and bottom in 3-layer Laminated Ovangkol, Mahogany neck and Branko Rosewood fingerboard. Ideal for the guitarist who does live activities and in the recording studio

.

OVERVIEW OF MY A400ce XII BY EKO GUITARS

My A400ce XII comes in Natural color with a Gloss finish, with Auditorium shape missing shoulder, a feature that allows the guitarist to easily reach the sharpest keys. The combination of Solid Cedar on the top and Ovangkol on the sides and back, the result of careful research, gives this instrument a very wide tonal spectrum that is always well balanced on every single string. A decidedly important feature is the presence of a high-performance amplification system, the Fishman Flex Blend: consisting of a piezo and an internal condenser microphone, this system allows you to capture every nuance of the guitar thanks to the possibility of gradually adding the signal taken from the microphone to the piezo signal, through a “blend” potentiometer. Among the controls, in addition to the Output Volume and the Blend, there is a display tuner (which can be activated by pressing the volume potentiometer) and an EQ control that works in “mid-scooped” mode: kept to a minimum, the signal is not equalized (flat), increasing the medium frequencies are gradually reduced in favor of low and high, very convenient for obtaining a sound already “ready” for the mix. In the event that the guitar should have feedback problems, a very common situation in the acoustic field, it is possible to reverse the phase by pressing the EQ potentiometer. The combination of all these features make the MIA A400ce XII a suitable instrument in professional settings, both in the recording studio

and on stage.

THE ROSEWOOD BRANCH

After two decades of research, Blackwood Tek, a partner of Algam since 2015, has developed an ecological process, planting short-cycle pine forests in New Zealand (Pinus Radiata), which complies with the requirements of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).
The production process ensures that this wood contains little moisture (only about 5%), is dense and resistant to changes in temperature or humidity. This means that it is not affected by the temperature changes that occur during transport, and is immediately ready to be used.
Giving Branko Wood a darker color results in a perfect substitute for Ebony, while with a lighter color than Rosewood.
Eko Guitars, part of the great Algam galaxy (which in Italy takes the name of AlGameKo), has been using Il Branko Rosewood on the EVO, MIA and ALPS series since 2021
