Microphone for Battery Box and other sources with high SPL BL8 is a microphone with a semi-cardioid polar pattern, with a capsule derived directly from the renowned sE8 small capsule condenser. Its hand-crafted condenser capsule uses an ultra-thin (3 micron) gold-coated diaphragm for superior transient response. Designed to reproduce low frequencies with surprising precision, the BL8 is perfect in combination with the V KICK sE, but it can also be used alone without an additional microphone for the case.
