for Tom Studio-X a single-layer sandblasted
skin. Our Z-100 textured sandblasting gives the skin a firm attack
and extra warmth. The sandblasted Studio-X leather features the patented Aquarian Power Dot on the underside, for greater
strength and durability. Studio-X combines 10 mil single-layer sandblasted leather with a light, muted ring attached to the underside. The SX series is designed to eliminate some of the unwanted high frequencies, while maintaining a warm, open and focused drum sound. Perfect for controlling unwanted harmonics during recording or close miking.
