AKAI PRO APC64 is a USB MIDI controller for Ableton's Live software equipped with a matrix of 64 backlit pads (8x8) sensitive to velocity and with poly-aftertouch, which you can use to play Clips, play melodies and chords in “Notes” and “Chords” modes, or drums electronic in “Drum” mode. 8 fully assignable Touch Strips will allow you to control any parameter in real time: from the volumes of the tracks in the mixer to the parameters of virtual instruments, devices and effects. APC64 is equipped with an integrated step sequencer, usable in the absence of a computer to transmit sequences and melodies to the two MIDI OUT ports and to the 8 CV/Gate outputs, to transform them into sound with your hardware synths and drum machines. There is also a MIDI IN port.
