AUDIX A131

The A131 is a large diaphragm condenser microphone ideal for vocals, choirs, piano, acoustic instruments and drum overheads. With a compact, contemporary design, the A131 is the perfect choice for podcasts, audio production professionals, recording studios, and stage shows or other live shows.

Housed in a precisely machined aluminum body, the 33 mm fixed load capsule is equipped with a gold-plated diaphragm for a wide and natural frequency response. With its well-mannered cardioid polar pattern, the A131 faithfully captures performance details while rejecting room noises and other unwanted off-axis sounds.

A double steel grill The ultra-thin acoustic foam and shell provide exceptional pop resistance, ideal for podcast and voice-over applications. Behind the grille, the aerial design of the capsule mounting system allows the A131 to provide a transparent, colorless sound.

The patented impedance control between the capsule and the circuit ensures consistent and reliable performance in a wide range of environments.

A unique and extremely effective internal shock mount isolates the capsule from mechanical vibrations and tactile noise, eliminating the need for a bulky external shock mount.

Offering studio performance in a circulation-friendly package thanks to its ruggedness and finishes, the A131 comes with a protective zipper case.

Requires 48-52 V phantom power. For best results, A131 should be used with a microphone preamplifier and a high-quality microphone cable.
