The piano is known for its expressiveness, as are the other acoustic instruments, for example: strings and percussion. Experienced pianists know that executive nuances are an important factor in performance. This explains the reason why Alesis has carried out a meticulous multi-sampling of the instruments that make up the 16 integrated sounds, which we will find organized into 4 categories easily accessible from the panel by pressing the dedicated buttons: acoustic pianos, electric pianos, organs and string/synths. Each category presents us with 4 factory presets, that is, 4 variants of the stamp. The Prestige digital piano also provides us with 5 selectable reverb effects. The Layer and Split modes allow you to arrange combinations between two different sounds on the keyboard, which can be played simultaneously (Layer) or separately on different zones. Lesson mode of the Alesis Prestige separates the keyboard into two zones on which exactly the same sound will be available, therefore perfect for face-to-face teaching where the teacher and the student can follow each other. The integrated metronome can be set at will in the range from 30 to 280 BPM, while the Record Mode function allows us to record and listen to our performance

Extreme audio versatility

The stereo amplification system integrated in the Alesis Prestige uses a micro-array of loudspeakers consisting of 4 2.5” drivers, powered by 50W of power (25Wx2), and 4 passive 2.5” radiators. This sound distribution system has been specially designed and calibrated to guarantee the same acoustic representation regardless of the positioning of the instrument inside the room, even when our digital piano is close to a wall. For use in the rehearsal room or on stage, we can take advantage of balanced audio outputs on ¼” jack connectors to connect to a mixer, amplifier or directly to amplified speakers. On the front panel there are two headphone outputs, one ¼” and the other 1/8”. These can be used simultaneously and once our headphones are connected, the integrated amplification will be automatically deactivated, so that we can play in absolute freedom, without disturbing our family or neighbors
