'Here is the great return of a very popular Guild semi-hollow, the Starfire IV ST - VSB, with an Extra-Thin double-cutaway body and incomparable feel and sound. The original Starfire IV was the favorite of many guitarists since the mid-'60s, for its rock soul, its spirit pervades this new re-edition. The guitar is built around a maple body with an arched board and bottom (Arched) with ivory and cream ABS binding, a solid handle (Soft U profile) in three-part mahogany with the central reinforcement in maple, the guitar scale is 629 mm, the nut is 43 mm, the fingerboard is in Indian rosewood with mother-of-pearl dot. The equipment includes the LB-1 Little Bucker pickups in AlNiCo 5 replicas of the original Guild mini humbucking. These pickups sound just halfway between a humbucker and a mini-Humbucker, the bridge is a Tune-o-matic with a string attachment, the open Sta-tie tuners with 18:1 nickelated ratio and the classic Vintage Sunburst glossy polyurethane finish.
