Based on the classic Starfire II and III single cuts, the Starfire I SC has a 2” thick body as for the best Semi-Hollow Body, the bridge block increases stability and resonance, the top, bottom (arched) and sides are in maple as for the 43 mm nut neck, the fingerboard is in Indian rosewood. The Starfire I SC offers the airy tone of a semi-hollow body, with bright overtones and pronounced bass. The 24 3/4” (629 mm) scale and the modern thin “U” neck guarantee excellent playability, Guild's premium tuners have an 18:1 ratio and the Tune-o-matic bridge with string attachment ensure easy tuning and perfect pitch hold. An injection of vintage sound is guaranteed by the Guild HB-2 Alnico II humbuckers, the push-pull allows you to split the pickup coils according to your needs. The bindings and purfling are in ABS, Snowcrest White glossy polyurethane finish (White).
