Based on the best-selling C5 model, the C5-CE adds a soft cutaway to facilitate access to the upper register and the Fishman Presys II preamplifier that amplifies the signal for the stage and the studio. Perfect as the first nylon string guitar and ready for concerts, this lightweight guitar is built with a solid Canadian cedar top and mahogany back and sides to produce a warm, well-rounded tone with nice sustain both acoustically and amplified. The carved headstock, hand-inlaid wood rosette, Indian rosewood binding, Savarez strings, and polished PU finish make the C5-CE a guitar that stands out from all other basic options. A lightweight adjustable truss rod is integrated into the handle to ensure stability. Available in Natural or Jet Black finishes with solid red cedar top or Sunburst with solid Sitka spruce top.
