The original feature of the Comfort series is the ergonomic armrest that provides maximum comfort to the guitar and, in the case of the G55SCE, becomes an integral part of the beautiful mahogany edging. The guitar features a Koa top, Koa back and sides, mahogany/maple edged body and headstock. The inlaid Ovangkol fretboard and the mahogany-rimmed Ovangkol bridge add an aura of understated elegance to the guitar. A maple/mahogany/maple strip also divides the back into Koa. The headstock features a pearlescent Washburn logo and a stylized W.
