Solid Sitka spruce top, solid African mahogany back and sides, mahogany handle with C profile, 651 mm scale. This jumbo is perfect for musicians looking for great projection and accentuated mid-range, its progenitor, the F-48 Navarre, was produced only from 1972 to 1976 and the original versions are highly sought after. The characteristics of the time include a tortoiseshell celluloid pickguard, white ABS binding, Guild logo on the mother-of-pearl headstock. Precious materials, such as Indian rosewood for bridge and keyboard, open mechanics with a 20:1 ratio and white acrylic palette, nut (43mm) and bone cross, complete this wonderful acoustics. The Antique Burst polyurethane satin finish gives this guitar a familiar look and allows the wood to vibrate freely. Each F-40E ATB comes with a Guild hardwood case with a Humicase® humidification system. The amplification system is L.R. Baggs Anthem.
