EA20 SNB Nuno Bettencourt Acoustic Guitar Famous for his revolutionary work with Extreme, GenAx and for touring with Rihanna, Nuno Bettencourt is truly a guitar hero that inspires millions of guitarists around the world. Although best known for his electric work on the Washburn N4 Signature, Nuno and Extreme became famous with the acoustic hit, “More Than Words”, in which Nuno played an acoustic/electric guitar from the Festival series. It is with that spirit and desire to create the perfect instrument for stage and studio that Washburn and Nuno joined forces to create the EA20S-Nuno Bettencourt. The guitar is a thin-cased Auditorium-style acoustic/electric guitar with a Florentine missing shoulder for extended access to the upper frets. It features a solid Sitka spruce top combined with a book with scalloped reinforcements sawn to a quarter and bottom and bands in a beautiful Pau Ferro. A mahogany neck with a smooth satin finish offers maximum comfort combined with an Ovangkol fingerboard. The keyboard also features the inlays of Nuno's 'mourning widow' on the 12th fret. The Graphtech Nubone nut and saddle allow maximum sound transmission and greater sustain. The chrome die-cast mechanics are equipped with ultra-precise tuning and guarantee tuning stability. Even the exclusive rosette has the motif of Nuno's “mourning widow” that binds to the keyboard inlay.
