The Command Mesh Kit Special Edition is an electronic drum kit that offers super functionality and an unprecedented experience.

Close-knit mesh pads that return a natural feeling to get as close as possible to the dynamic response of an acoustic drum kit. The cymbals are robust and responsive, with a function to stop the “choke” sound for crashing and riding. At the heart of the experience is the Command Drum Module with hundreds of stimulating classic and modern sounds. For greater customization, you can also upload your sounds via USB, as well as record and save your performances directly inside your module. The whole thing is mounted on a sturdy four-legged rack.

A unique electronic drum experience

Experienced

drummers know that mesh skins are exceptionally quiet and offer the most natural dynamic experience possible on an electronic kit. The Surge Mesh Special Edition comes with large pads with tightly meshed mesh skins for maximum playability: the 10" snare pad and the three 8" tom pads are all dual-zone, meaning that for each pad you can get two different sounds, one sound hitting the mesh skin and another sound hitting the edge of the pad. You can use the latter to play rim-shot sounds or to program additional percussion sounds to the kit. The 8” bass drum mesh pad is built for long durability (with bass drum pedal included). As for the cymbals, we find a 10" crash and a 10" ride with a function for stopping the “choke” sound and a 10" hi-hat with its expressive pedal

The SURGE sound module

The Command Drum Module has all the necessary features to be able to play with remarkable expressive quality, starting with the sounds. There are 74 kits (54 factory + 20 users) and 671 sounds that span a variety of genres and styles. Many of the samples have also been created in multi-samples: instead of reproducing the same sample that gets stronger or softer depending on the force with which you hit the drum pad, you will hear slight sound variations in each stroke, just like on a real drum, due to multi-sampling. This means that the performance will be more real and natural thanks to the different shades, without the risk of sounding artificial

Creative Control

Do you have a favorite drum sound that you'd like to use? The Command Module allows you to add your battery samples via a USB stick so you can create unique kits. You can also record your performances directly on the module, with up to 5 internal tracks or 99 on a USB stick. If you need more flexibility, the convenient USB/MIDI connection allows you to connect the module to a computer so you can play a VST or your favorite DAW for

endless creative possibilities.

High-quality hardware and accessories

The Surge Mesh Kit Special Edition includes everything you need to start playing drums right away: a snake cable for pad connections, chopsticks and a drum stick are included. There is also a high-quality Alesis single-leaf bass drum pedal (a double bass drum pedal can also be used - not included) and an expressive pedal for controlling the opening of the hi-hat. The drum pads, cymbals, and module all mount on a four-legged rack that holds its position, no matter how hard you play.
