GUILD ITALIA B-240E FRETLESS NAT SATIN

Guild began building acoustic basses in the mid-1970s with the b-50, which featured a jumbo body, arched mahogany back, and a 30 3/4” (781 mm) scale for ease of use. Decades after all this, an easy-to-play instrument returns with our B-240E fretless, the sound in the best fretless bass traditions is defined and full of harmonics. The instrument is constructed with solid Sitka spruce top over an arched mahogany bottom and mahogany bands. The B-240E fretless has a wooden keyboard and bridge with 5mm dot and inserts to replace the keys for a precise reference in the executions. The handle is in mahogany with a slim C profile with a 781 mm scale, the 1 5/8” (41 mm) nut in bone like the cross (Saddle) the pickguard is in turtle cellulose, the rosette is made of mother-of-pearl. Available in Natural satin polyurethane finish. The B-240E B-240E will be at its best in acoustic jams thanks also to the onboard Fishman Bass Sonitone amplifier system.
