WALDORF Waldorf Lector

Lector is a software vocoder with superior intelligibility and performance, available as a VST/AU plug-in for easy integration with the most popular DAW software, characterized by a 100-band stereo vocoder accompanied by a synthesizer section and a rich effects section. The vocoder is equipped with up to 100 frequency bands in the analysis section, which control as many stereo band-pass filters in the synthesis bank, using envelope followers with adjustable attack and decay. The integrated synthesizer or an external source acts as a carrier signal and is fed into the synthesis filter bank. In addition to the effects section, there are numerous features that make this vocoder unique, such as the whitening filter, the possibility of detunating the filter bank and more. N.B.
