Focal Shape 50.
The Shape 50 are Focal's nearfield biamplified active studio monitors. The Shape 50 features a 5" composite woofer (Flax Sandwich Cone) with a 60W RMS power class AB amplifier and an Aluminum/Magnesium tweeter with a 25W RMS power class AB amplifier. This monitor is very special because it does not have Bass Reflex and is equipped with passive side radiators for low frequencies, which makes them particularly suitable to be placed near a wall. The particular construction of the Shape 50 makes them suitable to be positioned about 80cm away from each other, preserving an excellent stereophonic image, which makes them perfect for use in a small room (about 12 square meters).
