The Alesis Strike Amp 8 MK2 is a high-performance bi-amplified speaker designed specifically for electronic drums. The output power is 2500 watts, so you have enough space for almost any performance or test. The 12" woofer and 1" high-frequency compression driver are tuned to achieve a flat response across the entire frequency spectrum to provide the most accurate and authentic representation of acoustic and electronic drum sounds. The performance of Strike Amp 12 MK2 is very balanced, with a maximum SPL of 132 dB and a frequency range from 44 Hz to 20 kHz, wide enough to reproduce the bass sound of the bass drum, up to the sharp snap of the snare drum

The Strike Amp 12 MK2 has two XLR + 1/4" combo inputs for connecting electronic drums and/or a multipad instrument, each with its own independent volume controls. You can also wirelessly connect a mobile device to the Strike Amp 12 MK2 via Bluetooth, so you can stream music wirelessly during rehearsals or breaks in the set. There is also an XLR output to “link” more than one speaker or to send the Strike Amp signal to a front of house mix.

It adapts to any stage or hall

The stages and rehearsal rooms can easily create dense and confusing mixes, as the lower frequencies of the different instruments collide with each other; the Strike Amp 12 MK2 is equipped with a HPF equalization switch to quickly eliminate annoying frequencies and ensure that each instrument fits perfectly into the mix. Unwanted electrical noises can also be a common problem; the Strike Amp 12 MK2's ground lift switch can eliminate hum from ground loops.

Lightweight, road-ready design

Strike Amp 12 MK2 is sturdy and, at the same time, light and easy to carry (34.7 lbs/15.7 kg), making loading at the concert or rehearsal room easier than Never. While it is possible to use Strike Amp 8 MK2 in its wedge position, its versatile design allows it to also be used in an upright position or on a stand, making it easier to direct sound wherever it is needed, which is especially useful at outdoor concerts or other places where the PA backline is limited.
