When I decided to introduce some of the best jazz Standards, my desire was to propose them in a 'live' version, i.e. how I'm used to play them. While keeping quite adherent to the originals, me-lody and harmony have undergone a rearrangement process according to praxis and styles typical of great Jazz guitar Masters. I think that playing and studying these versions will be pleasant and bene-ficial for all guitarists who are in love with good music and their instrument. My hope is that these examples will also encourage you to create personal interpretations of these or others Themes.
